Mendoza’s Minister of Energy and Environment opened Argentina Rocks, the first international geological exploration congress ever held in the country. The event chose Mendoza as its host city to bring together specialists, geologists, investors and mining companies from across the Andean region. “Mendoza decided to commit to the development of the mining industry and expand exploration activity,” Latorre emphasized.

Mendoza Extends Deadline to Add New Projects to the Northern Mendoza Mining District

Due to the strong interest generated during the initial stage of the Northern Mendoza Mining District initiative, the deadline for submitting new projects has been extended. So far, 12 projects representing a total of 23 mining rights have already joined the process, reinforcing the progress of the district’s planned development framework. Interested parties will now have until May 27 to submit their documentation.
