Impulsa Mendoza to Award 10 Full Scholarships for an Executive Training Program in Mining Finance

The company will cover 100% of the tuition fees for 10 participants in the Executive Training Program in Mining Finance offered by the National University of Cuyo (UNCUYO). The program will begin on November 2 and will focus on tools for evaluating, structuring, and financing mining projects.

Impulsa Mendoza continues to expand training opportunities related to the development of the mining industry in the province. As part of The Andean Bridge, a financial and institutional collaboration platform aimed at connecting mining projects across the Andean region with international investors and capital markets, the company will award 10 full scholarships for the Executive Training Program in Mining Finance: Structuring, Evaluation, and Financing of Mining Projects, offered by the Faculty of Economics at the National University of Cuyo (UNCUYO).

The initiative seeks to facilitate access to specialized knowledge of the economic and financial aspects of mining, amid growing interest in mining project development and investment opportunities.

The program is designed for business owners, executives, consultants, entrepreneurs, investors, public sector officials, and anyone interested in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to understand mining project evaluation and financing processes.

Specialized Training for Mining Project Development

The academic program offers a comprehensive approach that combines economic and financial analysis with the study of regulatory frameworks, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, and risk management associated with mining project development.

Across seven thematic modules and 21 classes, participants will gain tools to assess the economic feasibility of projects, analyze financing alternatives, understand how companies access capital markets, and identify the factors influencing investment decisions.

Topics include financial evaluation using indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), project financing models, auditing and due diligence processes, and an analysis of Argentina’s regulatory framework, including the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI).

The faculty brings together academics from UNCUYO and professionals from institutions and companies involved in financial markets, mining, engineering, and consulting, including the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (BYMA), Impulsa Mendoza, Hatch, EY, Dentons, ERM, and the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Program Format and Schedule

The program will run from November 2 to December 16, 2026, with a total of 65 instructional hours. Classes will be held online via Google Meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (Argentina time).
