Mendoza to Host Finance Day as Part of the 5th Argentina Critical Minerals Summit

Mendoza Finance Day
The fifth edition of the Argentina Critical Minerals Summit will take place October 28–30, bringing together mining companies, investors, and government officials in Buenos Aires and Mendoza to explore opportunities in lithium, copper, and silver. The event will conclude in Mendoza with a dedicated finance day connecting mining projects with investors and capital markets.

The development of lithium, copper, and other critical minerals is creating new investment and production opportunities in Argentina. With substantial mineral resources, the country is working to strengthen its position in global supply chains and attract capital to support the growth of its mining industry.

Against this backdrop, the 5th Argentina Critical Minerals Summit, organized by The Net-Zero Circle by IN-VR, will take place October 28–30, 2026, across Buenos Aires and Mendoza. The event will bring together national and provincial government representatives, mining companies, project developers, investors, capital market participants, and service providers.

Over three days, participants will discuss the industry’s main challenges and opportunities, with a particular focus on lithium, copper, and silver. The program will feature project presentations, investment and financing panels, regulatory discussions, and networking opportunities designed to connect key players across the mining sector.

Three Days Connecting Mining Projects, Investors, and Industry Leaders

The summit will open in Buenos Aires on October 28, featuring national and provincial government officials, mining project presentations, investor panels, and technical discussions.

The main conference will continue on October 29, with sessions exploring financing mechanisms and updates on Argentina’s mining project pipeline. Participants are also scheduled to travel from Buenos Aires to Mendoza that day.

The summit will conclude on Friday, October 30, with Mendoza Finance Day, a dedicated event designed to connect mining projects with investors and representatives of domestic and international capital markets.

Mendoza Finance Day: Connecting Mining Projects with Capital

Mendoza Finance Day will take place on Friday, October 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with sessions focused on copper and lithium projects and their developers.

The event will give mining companies and project developers an opportunity to present their projects to financial industry representatives, explore funding options, and establish relationships that could support future investments.

The program will also feature TSX Private Matchmaking, an exclusive series of meetings bringing together investors, project developers, and mining and financial industry representatives to build connections and explore investment opportunities.

This initiative is part of Andean Bridge, a program designed to strengthen ties between mining projects in the Andean region and international capital markets, expanding access to financing for mineral exploration and development.

By bringing project developers and financial institutions together, Mendoza Finance Day aims to help bridge the gap between promising mineral resources and the capital required to advance projects toward production.

Mining and Financial Industry Leaders to Participate

The 2026 summit will feature executives from major lithium and copper companies, mining project developers, investors, provincial officials, and capital market representatives.

Confirmed speakers include Jimena Latorre, Mendoza’s Minister of Energy and Environment; Michael Meding, of McEwen Copper and Los Azules; Simon Pérez Alsina, of EXAR; Ignacio Celorrio, of Lithium Argentina; Roberto Cacciola, President of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM); Guillaume Legaré, of the Toronto Stock Exchange; and Sebastián Piña, CEO of Impulsa Mendoza, among others.

Hosting Mendoza Finance Day will give the province an opportunity to showcase its mining projects, strengthen relationships with prospective investors, and expand its connections with international capital markets.

Impulsa Mendoza is supporting the initiative as part of its ongoing efforts to promote industry knowledge, facilitate access to financing, and create new investment opportunities for the province’s mining sector.
