The 2026 edition will be structured around three main pillars: Institutional Framework and Governance, Environment and Society, and Economics and Finance.
These three areas will address different dimensions of the mining industry, from strengthening institutions and regulatory frameworks to environmental sustainability, community engagement, supplier development, innovation, project financing and access to capital markets.
The agenda will also explore opportunities related to copper and critical minerals, human capital development and regional integration, against an international backdrop of growing demand for strategic resources needed for the energy transition.
An Edition Shaped by Mendoza’s Progress
The Summit will also take place at a time of significant transformation for Mendoza’s mining industry.
Since the first edition in 2024, Mendoza has moved forward with initiatives such as Malargüe Western Mining District (Malargüe Distrito Minero Occidental), focused on advancing mineral exploration in the south of the province, and launched Mendoza Norte Mining District (Mendoza Norte Distrito Minero), a new initiative designed to organize and assess areas with geological potential.
The province has also introduced new tools to connect projects with investors and capital markets. These include The Andean Bridge and the Mining Financial Hub, initiatives aimed at supporting access to financing for projects at different stages of development.
This progress is complemented by efforts focused on talent development, partnerships with universities and the growth of local suppliers—another key component that will be part of the discussions in November.
