As part of the Driving Knowledge Forward program, Impulsa Mendoza has selected the professionals who will receive scholarships to enroll in graduate diploma programs offered by the Faculty of Applied Sciences to Industry at the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo). The initiative is designed to strengthen the development of highly qualified professionals for the mining sector and environmental management.
The scholarship call, which provided access to university-level training through the Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management and Auditing and the Graduate Diploma in Mining Management with an Environmental Perspective, attracted a high number of applications, reflecting the growing interest in specialized education linked to the sustainable development of mining and environmental management in Mendoza.
Following the evaluation process, eight professionals were selected to receive scholarships funded by Impulsa Mendoza. The list of recipients has already been officially submitted to the Faculty of Applied Sciences to Industry to begin the enrollment process.
The selected candidates represent the wide range of disciplines that contribute to the development of a modern and sustainable mining industry. Recipients include engineers, geologists, environmental professionals, mining logistics specialists, university lecturers, journalists, human resources professionals, biotechnologists, and experts in the natural sciences, among others.
This initiative is part of Impulsa Mendoza’s ongoing collaboration with universities and academic institutions to strengthen human capital, expand technical capabilities, and support the continued growth of Mendoza’s mining ecosystem.
Through its partnership with the National University of Cuyo, Impulsa Mendoza is helping broaden access to specialized education in strategic fields while fostering stronger links between academia and the productive sectors that are driving Mendoza’s long-term development.
