Impulsa Mendoza and EMESA Strengthen Their Joint Agenda for Mendoza’s Energy and Mining Development

The two companies formalized an agreement to continue working together on energy, mining, technical assistance, information exchange, and sustainable development initiatives.

Impulsa Mendoza and the Mendoza Energy Company (EMESA) have signed a framework cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening collaboration between both institutions and consolidating a shared agenda focused on the energy and mining development of the province.

The agreement was signed by Impulsa Mendoza CEO Sebastián Piña and EMESA General Manager Mauricio Pinti Clop, establishing a cooperation framework that will enable the continued development of projects, studies, programs, and initiatives of mutual interest related to strategic sectors for Mendoza.

Among the agreement’s main areas of collaboration are the analysis and development of energy projects linked to mining activities, including initiatives related to renewable energy and energy efficiency; the exchange of technical information, feasibility studies, and relevant data for project development; and reciprocal technical assistance through training activities, knowledge transfer, and specialized advisory services.

Additionally, both institutions agreed to promote initiatives related to the energy transition, the responsible use of natural resources, and sustainable economic development. They will also establish coordination mechanisms to advance projects of public interest that strengthen the capabilities of each organization.

“Mining and energy are deeply interconnected activities. This agreement consolidates a joint work agenda that will allow us to leverage our capabilities, share knowledge, and create better conditions for Mendoza’s sustainable development,” said Sebastián Piña, CEO of Impulsa Mendoza.

The agreement also provides for the possibility of developing specific projects through complementary agreements, enabling this general cooperation framework to be translated into concrete initiatives that support the province’s development.

With the signing of this agreement, Impulsa Mendoza and EMESA reaffirm their commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation, promoting investment, and supporting the growth of strategic sectors that will play a fundamental role in Mendoza’s energy and mining future.
