The Argentina Critical Minerals Summit, an international gathering that brings together mining industry leaders, investors, government authorities, and financial market representatives to explore opportunities in critical minerals development, will hold its final session in Mendoza with Mendoza Finance Day, an event dedicated to project financing and connecting mining developers with capital markets.
Organized by The Net-Zero Circle by IN-VR, the international summit will take place on October 28 and 29 in Buenos Aires and conclude on Friday, October 30, in Mendoza with Mendoza Finance Day, organized by Impulsa Mendoza and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX and TSX Venture Exchange).
Speakers will include Jimena Latorre, Mendoza’s Minister of Energy and Environment; Michael Meding of McEwen Copper and Los Azules; Simon Pérez Alsina of EXAR; Ignacio Celorrio of Lithium Argentina; Roberto Cacciola, president of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM); Guillaume Légaré of the Toronto Stock Exchange; and Sebastián Piña, CEO of Impulsa Mendoza.
The agenda will explore investment opportunities in copper, lithium, and silver, along with the challenges Argentina faces in transforming its mineral resources into productive mining operations. Financing, permitting, infrastructure, logistics, supply chains, and the conditions needed to attract international capital will be among the main topics of discussion.

Wednesday, October 28 – Mining Projects, Investment, and Sustainability
The opening day will begin with a presentation by Roberto Cacciola, followed by Michael Meding’s presentation on Los Azules, one of Argentina’s leading copper projects.
The program will feature a panel on lithium projects with Ignacio Celorrio, Simon Pérez Alsina, and Juan Martín Gilly of Ganfeng Lithium and the Salta Chamber of Mining.
Silver project development will also be discussed, with contributions from Ignacio Butler of Centauri Minerals and Manuel Benítez, associated with CAPMIN, AbraSilver, and GE21 Argentina.
Subsequent sessions will focus on financing alternatives for mining companies and suppliers, the impact of Argentina’s Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI), and the conditions required for mining projects to move into construction and production.
Afternoon discussions will address infrastructure and logistics needs across Argentina’s main mining regions, strengthening export corridors and supply chains, and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards into mining operations.
Participants in the ESG panel will include Cristian Salinas, Environmental and Sustainability Director at Ganfeng Lithium, and Lucila Lasry, Community and Institutional Relations Manager at EXAR.
Thursday, October 29 – Copper, Lithium, and New Mining Project Development
The second day will open with a panel examining cooperation between mining companies and provincial governments to attract investment and advance project development. Speakers will include Rodolfo Micone of Minera Aguilar and José Gustavo de Castro of ARLI and Lithium Chile.
One of the main sessions will focus on copper projects in Argentina, including companies developing mining initiatives in Mendoza.
The panel will bring together Fabián Gregorio, Executive President of Minera San Jorge; Javier Robeto, Argentina Manager at Aldebaran Resources; Raymond D. Harari, CEO of Argentina Metals Corp.; and Emilio Miranda, Commercial and Logistics Manager at Los Azules.
Industry specialists will examine the current status of copper projects, expected development timelines, and the conditions needed to transform Argentina’s portfolio of mining projects into operating mines.
The agenda will continue with presentations on engineering, procurement, and construction in the mining industry, technological solutions, financing, permitting, and coordination with suppliers and contractors.
Discussions will also address strategies to improve project execution and reduce risks that could affect construction schedules and development timelines.
Friday, October 30 – Mendoza Finance Day to Connect Mining Projects with Investors
Focused on connecting mining projects with capital, the final stage of the Argentina Critical Minerals Summit will take place during Mendoza Finance Day, organized by Impulsa Mendoza in partnership with the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV).
The event will be held on Friday, October 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mendoza Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Comercio de Mendoza), featuring sessions dedicated to copper and lithium projects and their developers.
The event will provide mining companies and project developers with opportunities to present their initiatives to financial industry representatives, explore financing alternatives, and establish connections that could facilitate future investments.
The program will also include TSX Private Matchmaking, an exclusive series of meetings between investors, project developers, and representatives of the mining and financial sectors, designed to build relationships and identify investment opportunities.
Both the Argentina Critical Minerals Summit and Mendoza Finance Day are part of The Andean Bridge, a platform co-founded by IN-VR, TSX, TSXV, BYMA, the Mendoza Stock Exchange, and the Government of Mendoza.
The initiative aims to strengthen connections between mining projects across the Andean region and international capital markets, expanding access to financing for mining development.
To close the event, wine and mining will come together at Mines & Wines, a networking gathering at Viña Las Perdices Winery. The event will connect mining industry representatives, investors, and government officials with Mendoza’s renowned wine culture.
This activity will be organized in collaboration with the Argentine Bulk Wine Chamber.
