With this milestone, Impulsa Mendoza’s scholarship program has officially begun. The initiative seeks to strengthen the training of specialized human resources and support the development of a modern, sustainable mining industry with high technical and environmental standards in the province.
The scholarships were awarded following a call for applications that attracted strong interest from professionals representing different disciplines related to productive development, environmental management, and the mining sector. As a result of the evaluation process, eight professionals were selected to participate in this specialized university training.
“Mendoza has strategic mining potential that requires trained professionals to promote the development of the industry with technical, environmental, and social responsibility. These scholarships represent a concrete opportunity to contribute to the development of specialized, high-quality knowledge for the sector. The selected profiles reflect the diversity of expertise that the industry’s development requires today,” said Sofía Raich, Administration, Finance and Sustainable Development Coordinator at Impulsa Mendoza.
The scholarship recipients include engineers, geologists, environmental professionals, mining logistics specialists, university professors, journalists, human resources professionals, biotechnologists, and natural science professionals, among others.
In addition to completing the diploma programs, the participants committed to carrying out knowledge dissemination and transfer activities, with the aim of sharing what they learn and contributing to the development of new professionals connected to Mendoza’s mining ecosystem.
The initiative is part of Driving Knowledge, Impulsa Mendoza’s program aimed at promoting training, developing technical capabilities, and strengthening collaboration between academia and the productive sector.
Through its partnership with the Faculty of Applied Sciences to Industry of the National University of Cuyo, Impulsa Mendoza continues to expand educational opportunities in strategic fields for the province’s growth, strengthening the human capital required by the mining and environmental management sectors in a context of sustainable development.
