Applications Open for University Diploma Programs in Mining and Environmental Management

Impulsa Mendoza and UNCuyo are offering seven fully funded scholarships for online university diploma programs in mining and environmental management, aimed at strengthening the skills needed to support the sustainable development of Mendoza’s mining sector.

Impulsa Mendoza, in partnership with the Faculty of Applied Sciences to Industry (FCAI) of the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo), has opened applications for professionals, technicians, public officials, and individuals interested in the mining and environmental sectors to access university diploma programs focused on sustainable development and environmental management.

As part of the Promoting Knowledge initiative, Impulsa Mendoza will provide seven fully funded scholarships for two online diploma programs beginning in July 2026:

University Diploma in Mining Management with an Environmental Perspective

Focused on responsible mining development, regulatory frameworks, environmental sustainability, governance, and community engagement.

Duration: 6 months (600 hours)

University Diploma in Environmental Management and Auditing

Designed to provide practical tools for environmental impact assessment, environmental legislation, auditing, waste management, effluent control, and environmental management systems.

Duration: 4 months (300 hours)

The call is open to university graduates, technicians, public officials, and individuals linked to public, private, or civil society organizations with an interest in mining, environmental management, or sustainable development.

Who Can Apply?

The call is open to university graduates, university technicians, public officials, and individuals affiliated with public institutions, private organizations, or civil society organizations who can demonstrate an interest in or experience related to mining, environmental management, or sustainable development.

As part of the experience, selected participants will become members of the Promoting Knowledge community, contributing through outreach activities, training initiatives, or the development of specialized content that helps expand and share the knowledge gained.

About Promoting Knowledge

Promoting Knowledge is an initiative led by Impulsa Mendoza aimed at fostering education, research, knowledge sharing, and capacity building related to modern and sustainable mining.

Through partnerships with universities, scientific institutions, specialized organizations, and stakeholders across the mining ecosystem, the program seeks to broaden access to knowledge, strengthen the province’s human capital, and create opportunities for collaboration that support the sector’s development from a technical, environmental, and social perspective.
