Geological potential of NMMD

According to information from SEGEMAR and previous campaigns, the area presents characteristics similar to other large Andean deposits, with great potential in porphyry-type systems, associated with large-scale copper and gold deposits.

Process

1

Preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment:

Impulsa Mendoza issued a private tender for specialized technical services. The winning bidder was Knight Piésold, an internationally renowned consulting firm. The work includes the preparation of the Comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment for the NMMD and individual reports for the projects it comprises, for the exploration phase.

2

Call for Mining Rights Holders: Impulsa Mendoza has invited mining rights holders within the NMMD area to formally register so that their property or project can be considered in the process of preparing individual Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). Once the deadline has passed, the submitted documentation will be reviewed, compliance with requirements will be verified, and the pool of projects will be ranked.

3

Environmental Impact Statement:
Once the technical documentation is finalized, the Comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment and the individual Environmental Impact Assessments will be submitted to the competent authority, in accordance with applicable regulations. The objective is to obtain the Environmental Impact Statement for the exploration phase.
