The document outlines the organization's main achievements in governance, economic development, social impact, and environmental responsibility, reaffirming its commitment to modern, transparent, and sustainable mining.

Impulsa Mendoza Sostenible S.A. has released its First Sustainability Report 2025, a document that reflects the work carried out to consolidate a model of modern, responsible mining aligned with international standards.

The report marks another step forward in the organization’s transparency strategy and brings together its key achievements, objectives, and initiatives in governance, economic performance, social impact, and environmental management.

It was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, including the GRI 14 Mining Sector Standard, and also references the SASB Metals & Mining Standard.

“We have worked to position Mendoza on the global map of sustainable mining. However, there is still much to be done to achieve the goals established in our Sustainability Plan. Accelerating exploration projects will drive local development and strengthen the value chain prioritized by our stakeholders. We firmly believe that without exploration there is no mining, and without capital markets and a strong financial ecosystem, it is virtually impossible to advance exploration,” said Sebastián Piña, CEO of Impulsa Mendoza.

The publication presents the sustainability vision that guides Impulsa Mendoza’s work, based on economic development, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and ethical, transparent management. It also outlines the organization’s institutional strategy, identifies its priority material topics, and describes the principles that guide decision-making.

The Eight Pillars of the Sustainability Strategy

The report details initiatives developed around eight material topics identified in collaboration with stakeholders:

  1. Sustainable Mining Promotion
  2. Local Economic Development
  3. People’s Well-being and Rights
  4. Ethics and Transparency
  5. Strategic Partnerships
  6. Sustainable Value Chain
  7. Environmental Integrity
  8. Water Sustainability

The report also highlights the strategic objectives that guide the organization’s management, including the generation of technical knowledge, capacity building and stakeholder engagement across the mining ecosystem, support for project financing, and the promotion of investments that contribute to the sustainable development of Mendoza.
