Both organizations signed a cooperation agreement to support the Mines & Wines initiative, fostering business opportunities, knowledge sharing, and stronger connections between key sectors of Mendoza’s economy.
As part of Vinexpo Explorer Mendoza 2026, Impulsa Mendoza and the Argentine Chamber of Bulk Wine Exporters and Traders (CAVG) signed a framework cooperation agreement aimed at creating new opportunities for collaboration between mining and viticulture, two activities that are part of Mendoza’s productive identity and have a growing international outlook.
The agreement, signed by José Alfredo Bartolucci, President of the Argentine Chamber of Bulk Wine Exporters and Traders (CAVG), and Sebastián Piña, CEO of Impulsa Mendoza, was executed during one of the leading international events in the wine industry, bringing together 50 Argentine bulk wine producers and 25 international buyers from strategic markets across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
The agreement establishes a general framework for cooperation, mutual assistance, and institutional collaboration designed to generate synergies between both organizations and promote joint actions related to productive development, innovation, and the creation of business opportunities.
One of the main pillars of the agreement will be the development of the Mines & Wines initiative, conceived as a strategic platform aimed at demonstrating the potential for coexistence, collaboration, and value creation between mining and viticulture. Through training activities, business networking, supplier development, knowledge transfer, and commercial promotion, the initiative will create new opportunities for Mendoza-based companies and strengthen the integration of two key sectors of the province’s economy.
The initiative is based on a shared vision: both mining and viticulture face challenges related to sustainability, innovation, technology adoption, access to international markets, and the strengthening of value chains capable of competing globally. At the same time, both sectors increasingly require specialized suppliers, qualified human capital, and dynamic business ecosystems to support their growth.
In this context, collaboration among productive sectors helps strengthen capabilities, share experiences, and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs, professionals, and local companies. The initiative seeks to build bridges between sectors that, while operating in different industries, share a strong export-oriented profile and make significant contributions to the province’s economic development.

The agreement also provides for the development of training programs, business meetings, networking activities, commercial promotion initiatives, and joint projects aimed at strengthening Mendoza’s competitiveness and expanding opportunities for local companies in national and international markets.
Under the terms of the agreement, both institutions commit to coordinating efforts, generating synergies, and aligning institutional capabilities to explore, design, and implement joint projects, collaborative platforms, training programs, and promotional activities consistent with the strategic objectives of each organization.
The agreement comes at a time of increasing internationalization for Mendoza. During Vinexpo Explorer, international buyers participate in technical seminars, professional tastings, B2B business meetings, winery visits, and immersive experiences that allow them to experience firsthand the quality of local products, the province’s productive potential, and its wine identity.
Through this partnership, Impulsa Mendoza continues to promote collaboration among strategic sectors of the provincial economy, strengthening institutional relationships, supporting supplier development, and contributing to a Mendoza that is increasingly integrated into global value chains.
