The Government of Mendoza will participate in a new edition of CESCO Week, one of the mining industry’s leading regional gatherings, which will take place in Santiago, Chile.
The delegation will include Governor Alfredo Cornejo, Minister of Energy and Environment Jimena Latorre, Director of Mining Jerónimo Shantal and Impulsa Mendoza CEO Sebastián Piña, who will carry out a work agenda focused on investment promotion and strengthening relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Work Agenda and Meetings with the Industry
Throughout the week, the province will hold a series of meetings with companies, investors and actors from the mining ecosystem, while also participating in various discussion forums and side events addressing industry trends, challenges and opportunities.
CESCO Week brings together mining companies, suppliers, analysts, international organizations and government representatives, consolidating its role as a key space for analyzing the global mining landscape, particularly in relation to copper and critical minerals.
Within this framework, Mendoza will seek to deepen dialogue with companies interested in the region, while also promoting its project portfolio and development strategy.
Continuity of an International Strategy
Participation in CESCO Week is part of a broader international promotion agenda that the province has been advancing through major industry events.
In recent months, Mendoza has participated in forums such as the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference and PDAC, as well as Argentina Week in New York, where the province strengthened contacts, meetings and relationships with companies and investors.
This sustained international agenda has allowed Mendoza to consolidate a long-term positioning strategy aimed at connecting local projects with the global financing and investment ecosystem.
Positioning and Sector Development
Through these initiatives, the province seeks to strengthen its positioning as a mining investment destination by promoting sector development under criteria of sustainability, predictability and public-private coordination.
Participation in forums such as CESCO Week is part of a broader strategy that combines institutional presence, agenda-building and the development of long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders.
