The space served as a meeting point for information and dialogue about mining, its value chain, and local development opportunities, connecting the productive agenda with one of southern Mendoza’s most representative cultural events.
As part of its territorial agenda, Impulsa Mendoza took part in activities held during the National Goat Festival in Malargüe (Fiesta Nacional del Chivo), one of the most important cultural, social, and productive gatherings in the southern region of Mendoza Province.
The institution’s presence was highlighted through the “Mining Tent,” a space designed to promote exchange, information, and dialogue with the community regarding the development of mining activities in the department.
The tent operated as an open and accessible environment, shared with public agencies, business chambers, companies from the sector, and technical teams linked to mining. Throughout the event, information was provided on how the industry operates, its value chain, and the productive opportunities associated with the department’s growth. The setting allowed for direct interaction with local residents, producers, and entrepreneurs.
The initiative aimed to integrate mining into Malargüe’s cultural and social agenda while strengthening ties with key stakeholders in the local economic network. In this context, creating spaces for dialogue and clear information proved essential to supporting productive development processes and fostering a better understanding of the activity and its impacts in terms of employment, services, and economic dynamism.
Impulsa Mendoza’s participation was also connected to the “Driving Knowledge” program, through which information about training and education opportunities related to the mining value chain was shared. This line of action reinforces the importance of human capital development as a strategic pillar to ensure that industry growth translates into real opportunities for local communities.

Initiatives like this help consolidate a comprehensive approach to development, linking productive investment with workforce training, the strengthening of local suppliers, and community engagement. Participation in deeply rooted local events such as the National Goat Festival is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the social legitimacy of mining through proximity, transparency, and direct interaction with citizens.
In line with its territorial work, Impulsa Mendoza also highlighted the opening of its office in Uspallata, which formally began operations last December. This new office is intended to bring support tools, information, and coordination closer to entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, and local stakeholders connected to productive development, expanding the institution’s presence in strategic areas of the province.
Impulsa Mendoza continues to advance in aligning the investment and productive development agenda with local dynamics, promoting a mining sector that generates opportunities, employment, and added value within the territory, in ongoing dialogue with communities and regional productive sectors.
